Job Description – Marketplace Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Marketplace Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or science, exceptional written English skills, and extensive experience in managing marketplace activities for product-based companies operating in the USA, specifically on platforms like
Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Zoro, and other online marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Management:
- Manage and optimize product listings on various marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Zoro, and other marketplaces.
- Conduct keyword research, optimization, and bidding to improve product visibility and sales.
- Analyze marketplace data and reports using Excel to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor marketplace performance metrics and implement strategies to improve conversions and revenue.
Data Analysis And Reporting
- Utilize Excel for in-depth data analysis and reporting.
- Generate actionable insights from data to drive business decisions and strategies.
- Provide regular performance reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
Keyword Optimization
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-performing keywords.
- Optimize product listings and PPC campaigns based on keyword performance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in keyword optimization and bidding across marketplaces.
Product Listing
- Create and maintain high-quality product listings on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Zoro, and other relevant marketplaces.
- Ensure product listings are accurate, complete, and optimized for search engines and user experience.
- Manage listing content including titles, descriptions, bullet points, images, and backend keywords.
Additional Responsibilities
- Experience with Magento is a plus.
- Experience with Helium10 is a plus.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketplace strategies with overall business objectives.
- Coordinate with catalog, pricing, and inventory teams to ensure smooth marketplace operations.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
- Engineering or Science Degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience working on marketplaces for product-based companies doing business in the USA (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Zoro, or similar marketplaces).
Skills
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Proficient in using Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of keyword optimization, keyword research, and keyword bidding.
- Experience with product listing and marketplace management.
- Familiarity with Magento and Helium10 is a plus.
