We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Budget Operations Specialist to join our Marketing Operations team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in financial operations within a dynamic marketing environment. You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day budget management activities, including processing purchase orders (POs), updating sourcing contracts, and maintaining accurate financial records across marketing cost centres.
This is a foundational role that offers exposure to budgeting processes, financial systems, and cross-functional collaboration with procurement, finance, and marketing teams.
This will be an onsite role based in Bangalore.
What you will do:
Purchase Order Management: Accurately enter and track marketing-related POs in financial systems. Ensure POs are aligned with approved budgets and sourcing contracts. Monitor PO status and follow up on approvals and vendor queries.
Contract & Vendor Support: Assist in updating and maintaining sourcing contracts and vendor records. Coordinate with procurement and legal teams to ensure compliance and documentation accuracy.
Budget Tracking & Reporting: Support monthly budget reconciliation and spend tracking across marketing cost centres. Help maintain budget trackers and dashboards for internal reporting. Flag discrepancies and assist in resolving budget variances.
Administrative & System Support: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation. Assist in onboarding new vendors into financial systems. Support the team in preparing documentation for audits and reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing managers, finance, and procurement to ensure smooth budget operations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
