Job Title: Fashion Marketing and Communications Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Fashion Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for shaping and executing BASICS brand's marketing strategy, fostering relationships with media outlets, influencers, and customers, and driving both the internal and external communications for the brand. You will play a key role in promoting our brand's image, increasing brand awareness, and contributing to overall sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Marketing Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and execute seasonal marketing campaigns that align with the brand's vision and business goals.
• Collaborate with product development and design teams to align marketing strategies with upcoming product launches and collections.
• Manage digital marketing strategies (social media, email campaigns, paid media, etc.), ensuring effective promotion of brand and products.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.

2. Content Creation & Management:

• Create engaging, brand-aligned content for digital channels, including social media platforms, the brand website, email newsletters, and more.
• Oversee the creation of promotional materials, including lookbooks, press kits, and campaign visuals.
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and designers to develop visually compelling content that represents the brand.

3.Public Relations & Media Relations:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with fashion media, influencers, and bloggers.
• Coordinate media outreach and press coverage to generate brand visibility in key outlets.
• Organize and manage press events, influencer collaborations, and media interviews.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns.

4.Event Planning & Execution:

• Plan and execute fashion shows, pop-up shops, influencer events, and other brand activations to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Oversee logistics, guest lists, and event promotion to ensure successful outcomes.

5.Social Media & Digital Presence:

• Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase engagement and followers across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
• Regularly monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize content and campaigns.
• Collaborate with influencers and content creators to amplify brand visibility and reach.

6.Brand Identity & Voice:

• Ensure consistency in the brand's messaging and tone across all marketing and communications channels.
• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain a cohesive brand image that resonates with the target audience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in fashion marketing, communications, or PR (experience in fashion brands is a bonus).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
• Proven ability to create and execute marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• A deep passion for fashion, trends, and the fashion industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and other design software is a plus.
• Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, etc.) is desirable.
