Marketing Manager, Gamified Experiences - Amazon India

DESCRIPTION

Amazon India's Gamified Experiences (GameX) team is seeking a results-driven, creative, and highly motivated Marketing Manager to own and scale GameX marketing across Amazon India – driving High-Velocity Event integrations, partner campaigns and monetization, and experimentation across traffic channels.

This role owns GameX's presence in India's marquee shopping events (Prime Day, Great Indian Festival, Republic Day Sale), serves as the dedicated point of contact for brand partners and Amazon Advertising, and drives continuous optimization of campaigns and channels to grow reach, engagement, and revenue.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on stakeholder influence, moves fast, and is energized by turning creative ideas into measurable business outcomes. The successful candidate will be customer obsessed, skilled at data analysis, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and adept at building scalable processes from scratch.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end GameX integration for Amazon India High-Velocity Sale Events (Prime Day, Great Indian Festival, Republic Day Sale) and topical/cultural events – driving engagement and shopping integrations during peak shopping windows.
  • Partner with central events, category, and program marketing teams to embed GameX into event narratives, on-site real estate, and cross-channel campaigns.
  • Own the GameX event marketing calendar – planning campaign timelines, creative production, channel activation, and post-event performance readouts to build event-over-event playbooks.
  • Own the GameX partnerships and monetization charter – serving as the dedicated POC for brand partners, category teams, and Amazon Advertising to build the pipeline, scale co-op and sponsorship revenue, and meet annual program monetization goals.
  • Pilot new monetizable use-cases with partners and develop repeatable sponsorship models that scale across categories.
  • Drive topical and always-on GameX marketing campaigns across Homepage, Push, Outbound, Affiliates, and SEO – identifying new traffic levers and optimizing channel performance (CTR, impressions, conversion).
  • Own the GameX experimentation charter – design and execute A/B tests across cohorts, creatives, and incentive structures to continuously improve campaign and product outcomes.
  • Serve as the central marketing SME for GameX in India – advising category and program teams on how to leverage gamified experiences to meet their business goals.
  • Build scalable mechanisms and self-serve processes that enable partner teams to operate independently – including intake templates, campaign playbooks & creative guidelines.
  • Provide CX and creative direction to merchandising and design teams on partner and event campaign execution

The Amazon GameX team builds gamified experiences that drive sustained, repeat engagement across Amazon's fastest-growing marketplaces. As part of the IES Lifecycle Experiences org, our north star is moving customers from occasional buyers to loyal, high-frequency shoppers – and GameX is one of the most successful India-first initiatives in that charter.

We own FunZone – Amazon India's central destination for games – and a suite of gamified products that reach millions of customers across India, Brazil, Mexico, and more. We operate at the intersection of marketing, product, and partnerships, and we move fast.

Location: This role is based out of Amazon's Bengaluru (BLR37) office and is not a remote position.

Basic qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing, partnerships, or program management experience
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs from concept to completion
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and drive improvements
  • Experience managing internal or external partner/vendor relationships with clear business outcomes
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects across teams balancing quality, speed, and stakeholder alignment
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience in e-commerce marketing, including planning and executing high-velocity sale events (e.g., Great Indian Festival, Prime Day, Republic Day Sale)
  • Experience owning always-on marketing calendars or traffic-driving campaigns in a large-scale consumer business, including channel optimization across owned surfaces
  • Experience driving co-op, sponsorship, or advertising revenue through partner programs
  • Experience with Amazon internal tools such as Content Symphony, Bullseye, Arborist, etc.
