Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and result-oriented Marketing Manager – Events & Promotions who will be responsible for planning and executing promotional events, institutional outreach programs, brand activation campaigns, seminars, exhibitions, workshops, and student engagement activities.

The candidate will play a key role in strengthening brand visibility, generating quality student enquiries, building institutional relationships, and supporting admission growth through effective on-ground and digital promotional initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Execution

Plan, organize, and execute educational seminars, career counselling sessions, workshops, exhibitions, student events, roadshows, and promotional campaigns.

Develop detailed event plans, budgets, timelines, activity schedules, and responsibility matrices.

Coordinate venue arrangements, branding material, stage setup, guest management, registrations, hospitality, logistics, and event documentation.

Ensure all events are professionally executed within approved timelines and budgets.

Marketing & Promotional Activities

Design and execute ATL, BTL, field marketing, institutional outreach, and local promotional campaigns.

Plan promotional activities in schools, colleges, coaching institutes, villages, commercial locations, and public events.

Coordinate the distribution of brochures, banners, standees, promotional kits, merchandise, and other marketing material.

Develop innovative promotional ideas to increase brand awareness and student participation.

Lead Generation & Admission Support

Ensure that every event and promotional activity contributes towards measurable lead generation and admission objectives.

Collect, organize, verify, and submit complete student enquiry data generated through events.

Coordinate with the counselling, telecalling, and admissions teams for timely follow-up and conversion of leads.

Track event-wise enquiries, follow-ups, conversions, cost per lead, and return on marketing investment.

Institutional & Community Outreach

Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, coaching institutes, training centres, government departments, NGOs, channel partners, and community organizations.

Identify opportunities for seminars, institutional tie-ups, sponsorships, career awareness programs, and joint promotional activities.

Coordinate with principals, teachers, placement officers, counsellors, associates, and local influencers for conducting outreach programs.

Vendor & Team Coordination

Identify, negotiate, onboard, and manage event agencies, printers, decorators, photographers, videographers, transporters, and other vendors.

Coordinate with internal marketing, admissions, academic, media, and administrative teams for smooth execution of activities.

Allocate duties to team members and ensure proper reporting, discipline, and accountability during events.

Maintain strict control over event expenditure, vendor bills, promotional inventory, and approved budgets.

Brand Management & Digital Promotion

Ensure consistent use of the organization's brand identity across all events and promotional material.

Coordinate with the digital marketing and creative teams for event posters, social media campaigns, advertisements, videos, press releases, and post-event coverage.

Capture quality photographs, videos, testimonials, success stories, and student interactions during events.

Promote upcoming and completed events through social media, WhatsApp, local media, and institutional networks.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering activities conducted, leads generated, expenses incurred, conversions achieved, and future action plans.

Maintain event calendars, route plans, databases, vendor records, institutional contacts, and promotional inventory reports.

Evaluate the effectiveness of each campaign and recommend improvements based on measurable outcomes.

Eligibility & Skills

Graduate or Post-Graduate in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.

Prior experience in event management, education marketing, institutional outreach, BTL promotions, admissions, or brand activation is preferred.

Strong planning, communication, negotiation, coordination, and team-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple events and promotional activities simultaneously.

Creative thinking with a strong understanding of local and regional marketing.

Comfortable with extensive fieldwork, travelling, public interaction, and working during events or weekends when required.

Good command of Hindi and English.

Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, presentations, digital communication, and reporting tools.

Must be target-oriented, disciplined, presentable, and capable of taking complete ownership of assigned activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

A proactive professional who can independently plan and execute events from concept to completion.

Someone who understands that every event must create measurable brand visibility, quality enquiries, institutional relationships, and admission opportunities.

Candidates with experience in the education, aviation, hospitality, skill-development, training, media, or event-management sectors will be given preference.
