Job Description
About the Company
BetaBuilders is the world's first pre-startup accelerator — a nonprofit community that connects volunteer developers, designers, and product managers with early-stage founders to build MVPs. We help founders turn ideas into real products and give volunteers the chance to gain portfolio-ready, real-world experience.
We run weekly Pitch-to-Build events, launch collaborative MVPs, and foster a community where talent and ambition matter more than funding.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Marketing Intern to help grow BetaBuilders presence and community in India. This role is less about creating content and more about actively connecting with people — reaching out to students, early-stage founders, and startup enthusiasts, and inviting them to join our programs.
You'll be the voice of BetaBuilders in conversations, building awareness and helping expand our impact in India's startup ecosystem.
What You'll Do
•Conduct outreach on LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and startup/student communities
•Converse with potential volunteers, founders, and partners to introduce BetaBuilders
•Promote upcoming events (Pitch-to-Build, community workshops, etc.)
•Support growth campaigns that drive sign-ups and participation from India
•Help build partnerships with universities, student clubs, and startup networks
•Share success stories and updates directly with people to encourage engagement
What You'll Gain
•Real-world experience in community outreach, brand growth, and networking
•A chance to build connections with India's startup ecosystem
•Skills in outreach strategy, communication, and campaign growth
•Mentorship and guidance from experienced founders and marketers
•A reference and recommendation upon successful completion
We're Looking For
•Strong communication skills — you enjoy talking to people and building relationships
•Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and community building
•Proactive and outgoing personality, not afraid to start conversations
•Familiarity with LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other community platforms
•Ability to work independently and meet outreach goals
Commitment
Remote (Unpaid) | 5–8 hours per week | Flexible schedule
