About Observal :

Observal is an open-source, self-hosted registry for coding agent extensions, with an insight engine built in. Teams use it to share and version their skills, MCP servers, hooks, prompts and agents in one place, and to see what's actually working across tools like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Kiro, Copilot, Goose and more.

About the role

We're building a lot, and not enough people know about it yet. We need someone who can explain what Observal does to developers in a way they actually care about. You'll be working directly with us on how Observal shows up in the world, not running some random social media page.

What you'll do

• Write posts, threads and short blogs about Observal for LinkedIn, X, Reddit and dev communities
• Turn new features and releases into launch posts people want to read
• Make short demo videos and walkthroughs showing Observal in action
• Help grow our GitHub community, star count and Discussions
• Talk to users, find out how they use Observal and turn that into content

What we're looking for

• You can write clearly and simply, and you've posted things people have actually read
• You understand developers, or are one, and can tell hype from something useful
• You use AI coding tools yourself (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex etc.) and have opinions on them
• You're comfortable with basic design or video editing tools
• You know your way around GitHub, or are happy to learn fast
• You'd rather try things and see what works than wait to be told
