About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Marketing Intern to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of marketing principles and business objectives, and should be skilled at conducting research. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment while contributing to real marketing campaigns and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer insights
- Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and other channels
- Support content creation for social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, and marketing collateral
- Help analyse campaign performance data and prepare reports with actionable recommendations
- Research and identify potential partnership and collaboration opportunities
- Assist with SEO/SEM research and keyword analysis
- Support the marketing team in day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
- Monitor industry trends and present findings to the team regularly
- Help manage and update the company's social media profiles and online presence
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather inputs for marketing materials
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field
- Basic understanding of marketing fundamentals and business objectives
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X)
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good to Have
- Exposure to digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Canva, etc.)
- Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing
- Prior internship or project experience in marketing or related domains
- Interest in the matrimony/community-tech space
