About the Role

We're looking for a curious and driven Marketing Intern to help build Headway's brand presence, create compelling content, and support growth initiatives. This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with the founding team and gain exposure to marketing strategy, content creation, and audience building from the ground up.

What You'll Do

Content Creation & Social Media

Create, schedule, and manage posts across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and other relevant platforms

Write and edit blog posts, newsletters, and promotional content

Repurpose long-form content (articles, guides) into engaging social formats—carousels, threads, short videos

Research & Insights

Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity

Track and report on campaign performance and engagement metrics

Identify communities, forums, and channels where our target audience is active

Outreach & Community Building

Support email marketing campaigns and help grow our subscriber base

Engage with followers, respond to comments, and participate in relevant online discussions

Identify potential collaboration and partnership opportunities

Marketing Operations

Maintain marketing calendars, asset libraries, and documentation

Assist with landing page copy, A/B testing ideas, and funnel optimization

Coordinate with designers or freelancers as needed

What We're Looking For

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail

Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram)

Basic understanding of content marketing and digital marketing concepts

Self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of tasks

Curiosity about AI, SaaS, or technology is a plus

Bonus Points

Experience with design tools (Canva, Figma)

Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, ConvertKit, etc.)

Basic video editing skills

Personal blog, portfolio, or active social media presence showcasing your work
