Purpose

AndPurpose seeks to hire a Marketing and Communications Intern with exceptional editing, writing, and communications skills to join the communications team. The candidate will be in the core startup team and will be working closely with the company founder.

An ideal candidate should have prior experience in content writing for both long-form and short-form content.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities below, the individual should be prepared, as and when necessary, to take on additional outreach responsibilities.

Job Duties and Accountabilities

• Write short-form content for social media - meta, Linkedin
• Develop interesting story/content ideas for different mediums, social media and readers
• Design social media posts & reel content using tools like Canva, etc.
• Well-versed in using Canva, WordPress
• Ensure the quality of content is maintained as per AndPurpose standards across different content products. Ensure strict adherence to AndPurpose branding guidelines
• Write long-form content like blog posts, newsletters, brochures, case studies, website content etc.

Additional responsibilities

Support the team in managing and strengthening AndPurpose's media engagement.

Support the Outreach team on a range of tasks

Selection Criteria

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Media & Journalism, Public Relations, or any related field.

Work experience and other skills

• 1st,2nd year graduates are encouraged to apply
• Excellent grasp of the English language.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent eye for detail.
• Creative bent of mind
• Demonstrated abilities to manage multiple priorities, projects, and internal/external resources in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Strong drive and initiative, a self-starter.
