MTechZilla is a web, mobile app, AI app and cloud app development agency based in India, serving as an offshore engineering partner for US and EU companies. We work with US and EU engineering teams through three flexible engagement models - staff augmentation, team augmentation, and software development outsourcing. Our clients are CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Directors of Engineering at 50 to 500-employee tech companies.
We are growing fast and now hiring our first Head of Marketing to lead the function, scale inbound, and make marketing a primary growth engine alongside founder-led sales.
The RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Head of Marketing who will own our entire marketing function end-to-end. This is not a brand or comms role. This is a revenue marketing role. Your job is to build the engine that brings qualified discovery calls and inbound pipeline from CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Directors of Engineering at US and EU tech companies who need to hire or scale engineering teams.
You will lead a team of 2 (SEO Specialist and Social Media Specialist), grow the team as the function scales, work directly with the founder, and be the single owner of marketing performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership and Strategy: Lead and grow the marketing team, own the marketing plan, budget, OKRs, ICP, positioning, attribution, and performance cadence with the founder.
SEO and Content: Lead the SEO team to scale organic traffic and build the content engine aligned with our ICP and buying triggers.
Social Media and Founder Brand: Improve company and founder presence across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Reddit; direct the social specialist to execute.
Founder Brand Beyond Social: Build founder thought leadership through podcast appearances, industry publication bylines, conference speaking, and PR.
Directories, Reviews, Awards: Grow our presence on Clutch and other key B2B directories, build a systematic client review collection process, and submit company and founder for relevant industry awards.
Case Studies and Sales Enablement: Lead the production of case studies across written, video, and embedded formats, and maintain the sales collateral library (decks, one-pagers, deal accelerator docs).
Partnership and Co-Marketing: Close and run co-marketing partnerships with complementary agencies through joint webinars, content collaborations, podcast swaps, and lead-sharing arrangements.
Email, Nurture, Webinars: Build inbound nurture programs, run ICP-relevant webinars, and coordinate with the outbound stack to prevent prospect overlap.
Paid Acquisition: Plan and launch paid acquisition; manage or hire a performance marketer and own ROAS.
Marketing Operations: Own marketing analytics, attribution, performance dashboards, MQL/SQL criteria, and the marketing-to-sales handoff.
Must Have:
7 to 12 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 leading marketing teams
Hands-on B2B marketing experience selling to US and EU buyers in IT services, software development, staff augmentation, offshore development, or B2B SaaS targeting technical buyers. Experience outside B2B tech services will not be considered.
Proven track record of building or scaling a B2B inbound engine - be ready to walk through funnel math and attribution
Strong across the marketing stack - SEO, content, social, partnerships, paid. You don't need to be deepest in each, but you can hold strategic conversations with specialists in all of them
Experience driving founder or executive brand building - podcasts, bylines, speaking, social
Strong writing skills in US business English
Comfortable owning a number - MQLs, qualified pipeline, attribution
Hands-on with marketing analytics platforms (GA4, GSC) and CRM tools (HubSpot or similar)
Strong Plus:
Previous marketing leadership at an Indian IT services, software development, or staffing company targeting US and EU clients
Experience with staff augmentation or IT staffing business model specifically
Built a Clutch or B2B directory presence from scratch
Ran founder LinkedIn programs that produced inbound pipeline
Experience growing executive presence on Twitter/X and engaging strategically on Reddit for B2B audiences
Familiar with B2B outbound and prospecting tools
Experience with podcast outreach and PR programs
