We are looking for a Brand Communications Strategist who can shape NitroCommerce's brand identity, positioning, and communication strategy. You will drive storytelling, public relations, corporate messaging, and content across all marketing and executive channels. This role is for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, with a natural ability to turn complex AI concepts into crisp, compelling brand stories.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Positioning:

  • Build and evolve NitroCommerce.ai's brand identity, narrative, and messaging architecture.
  • Define voice, tone, and positioning across all channels website, decks, campaigns, product communications.
  • Ensure brand cohesion across marketing, product, sales, and leadership communications.
  • Translate technical AI/commerce features into clear, differentiated value propositions and brand stories.

2. Communications, PR & Influence Operations

  • Drive PR with intent, not vanity every announcement must create advantage, tension, or momentum.
  • Manage PR, media, and analysts with strategic pressure and precision.
  • Equip founders with scripts, talking points, and thought-leadership angles that move markets, not just fill panels.
  • Own crisis, reputation, and competitive-response communication with speed and clarity.

3. Content That Alters Perception

  • Write content that rewires how customers think about AI-commerce: bold POVs, sharp narratives, insight-driven pieces.
  • Build and manage a high-quality editorial calendar focused on AI, commerce, growth, and product innovation.
  • Create founder storytelling, customer stories, product stories with psychological precision, not fluff.
  • Produce crisp, high-impact messaging for website, decks, campaigns, and social channels.

4. Brand Marketing & Campaigns:

  • Partner with growth, social, and product teams to create brand-led campaigns around launches, features, partnerships, and milestones.
  • Conceptualize and execute brand moments videos, social storytelling, feature drops, announcements.
  • Maintain high creative standards and ensure consistent brand expression across all formats.
  • Work with designers/creatives to produce branded assets that strengthen visual identity.

5. Thought Leadership & Industry Presence:

  • Identify and drive opportunities for founder/executive presence podcasts, panels, webinars, guest features, interviews.
  • Develop original insight-driven content that positions NitroCommerce.ai as a category leader in AI-commerce.
  • Monitor industry shifts and build narratives that place the company at the center of relevant conversations.

6. Customer Psychology & Market Insight:

  • Understand customer motivations, cognitive biases, and decision triggers.
  • Use psychological insight the way engineers use algorithms systematically, aggressively, and with leverage.
  • Treat the market as a cognitive battleground, not a demographic spreadsheet

7. Bonus (Not Mandatory but Strong Advantage)

  • Experience in podcasting, interviewing, video scripting, or content creation.
  • Ability to create short-form content social clips, reels, scripts, soundbites.
  • Strong presentation-building skills (decks, brand narratives, storytelling frameworks).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 34 years of experience in brand communications, brand management, PR, or corporate communications (preferably in tech/SaaS/startup).
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills clear, concise, creative, and strategic.
  • Strong understanding of brand building, positioning, and narrative development.
  • Hands-on experience with PR writing releases, coordinating media, speaking with journalists, managing agencies.
  • Proven ability to manage content calendars and deliver high-quality content across formats.
  • Strong project management, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Comfort in fast-paced environments where you own end-to-end execution.
  • Bonus: familiarity with AI, e-commerce, marketing technology, or SaaS industries.
