ALIV Regenerative Wellness | Pune (primary) — supporting Mumbai & Bengaluru
About the role
ALIV is building a marketing function the way the rest of the business is built — premium, doctor-led, evidence-anchored, and deeply specific to the founder/CXO audience it serves. We are not a biohacking brand, not a wellness influencer brand, and not a clinic chain. We are something different and the marketing has to read that way at every touchpoint.
We're hiring a 360° marketing person who can own brand, content, paid, organic, local, partnerships, and email — not as a specialist in one of them, but as the connective tissue across all of them. You'll work alongside the founder, a future analytics hire, agency partners, and the content/clinical team to turn ALIV into the most clearly positioned regenerative wellness brand in India.
This is a full-stack role at a scaling startup. The channels are already running. The frameworks are already locked. What's missing is a senior operator who can hold them all together, raise the quality bar, and free the founder from being the marketing bottleneck.
Reporting & team
- Reports to: Founder / CEO, Marketing Head
- Works alongside: Founder, Medical Director, performance marketing agency, content writer(s), data analyst, front desk teams across locations
- Stakeholders: Founder, location leads, clinical leadership
Core responsibilities
1. Brand & positioning stewardship
- Be the daily owner of ALIV's brand voice, visual identity, and positioning across every surface
- Enforce the locked positioning: doctor-led, regenerative wellness, another conversation beyond traditional medicine — not biohacking, not influencer wellness, not clinic chain
- Maintain the dual narrator system: doctor-led on the brand, human engineer on the founder
- Guard the four content pillars: founder journey & self-experimentation; science made accessible; behind the scenes; cultural shift
- Hold the line on tone: no superlatives, no hype, specificity over claims, contrarian-but-accurate
2. Content engine
- Own the content calendar across LinkedIn (brand + founder), Instagram, YouTube, the ALIV blog, and email
- Brief and quality-check writers, designers, video editors, and external creators
- Use ALIV's existing skill stack (content writer, blog engine, peptide auditor, wellness auditor) as production infrastructure
- Repurpose long-form (consults, audits, founder voice notes) into platform-native short-form
- Drive the editorial standard: every piece either teaches, repositions, or reveals — never fills
3. Performance marketing & paid
- Manage the paid marketing agency relationship and own the brief from ALIV's side
- Day-to-day oversight of Google Ads (multi-campaign), Meta Ads, and any future channels
- Own creative testing pipeline, landing page experiments, and conversion funnel optimisation
- Coordinate with the analytics owner on attribution, CAC, payback period
- Decide what gets amplified — and what stays organic — based on validated performance, not vanity
4. Organic social & community
- Manage ALIV's Instagram, LinkedIn (brand), YouTube, and any community surfaces
- Execute the locked Instagram organic reach recovery plan: detox window, organic-only validation, then paid amplification only behind validated content
- Daily community management — DMs, comments, qualified lead handoff to front desk
- Cross-platform native versioning (LinkedIn is not Instagram is not WhatsApp)
5. Local SEO & Google Business Profile
- Own GBP for Pune and Mumbai (and Bengaluru at launch)
- Categories, descriptions, services, posts, photos, Q&A, review velocity
- Local SEO landing pages (/location/pune and equivalents), schema markup (LocalBusiness / MedicalBusiness)
- Standalone therapy and condition pages — peptides, sleep, fatty liver, NAD+, etc.
6. Partnerships & PR
- Identify and execute brand partnerships that match ALIV's premium ICP (founder communities, premium fitness, high-end hospitality, professional networks)
- Manage media and PR opportunities — earned coverage, podcast placements for the founder, expert quotes for the medical leadership
- Co-marketing with aligned brands and selected practitioners
7. Email & CRM marketing
- Build the email and WhatsApp lifecycle: new lead nurture, consult prep, post-protocol education, retention, reactivation
- Segmentation logic (location, ICP segment, protocol stage, dual-customer dynamic — buyer vs end user)
- Quarterly nurture campaigns tied to ALIV's seasonal or scientific themes
8. Analytics partnership
- Work hand-in-glove with the data analyst on weekly performance reviews
- Translate dashboards into next-week actions
- Pressure-test attribution and CAC assumptions before they drive decisions
9. Vendor and agency management
- Manage the paid agency, creative freelancers, photographers, videographers, PR partners
- Hold them to ALIV's brand standard — politely and firmly
- Brief, review, approve, push back
Required qualifications
- 5–7 years in full-stack marketing roles at a scaling startup, premium consumer brand, healthcare brand, or top-tier agency
- Demonstrated ownership across brand, content, performance, and organic — not just one of them
- Hands-on familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, GBP, Instagram, LinkedIn, and at least one email platform
- Track record of building or scaling content that actually performed — not just shipped
- Strong written English; ability to brief and quality-check writers and creators at a high bar
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, premium services, or D2C — categories where compliance, trust, and tone matter
- Experience marketing to CXOs, founders, or high-net-worth audiences specifically
- Familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows and tools (we use them heavily)
- Light visual design ability (Canva / Figma) — enough to mock-up, not enough to confuse with a designer
- Prior experience working directly with a founder in a high-trust, low-process environment
Who this role is for
Mindset more than CV. This matters more than the resume:
- You can hold the difference between a brand for biohackers and a brand for founders who happen to care about longevity — and you understand why we sit on the second side of that line
- You write at a CXO level. You don't pad. You don't hype. You don't use the word elevate
- You see compliance and tone discipline as a creative constraint, not a creative limit
- You're calm around scientific complexity. You can read a peptide protocol or a clinical paper and pull the one true thing out of it for a 30-second reel
- You move fast but you don't ship sloppy. The premium positioning lives or dies in the details — a stray emoji, a generic stock photo, a hyped headline can undo a month of work
- You manage agencies and freelancers like a player-coach — you can do the work yourself, which is why they take your feedback seriously
- You're comfortable with ambiguity. The exact org chart, the exact tool stack, the exact reporting cadence — these are being built. You help build them
- You're a team player around doctors, scientists, and the founder — collaborative, not territorial
