Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Executive – Switchgear & Industrial Automation

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team at Ubique Electricals. You will be the face of the company, responsible for expanding our footprint in the industrial electrical market. Your primary focus will be on understanding consumer needs, conducting field visits, and promoting our technical training capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consumer Insights: Engage with different consumer segments to understand their specific electrical infrastructure needs and technical requirements.
  • Field Engagement: Conduct routine customer visits to industrial sites, contractors, and OEMs to build long-term relationships and maintain a strong brand presence.
  • Technical Training Promotion: Market and coordinate specialised training sessions on Lauritz Knudsen (LK) switchgear, helping clients understand product applications, maintenance, and safety.
  • Lead Generation: Proactively gather formal enquiries and technical specifications from the field.
  • Collaborative Sales: Work closely with the internal technical and sales teams, providing them with the necessary field data to ensure smooth order closures.
  • Reporting: Maintain a clear pipeline of enquiries and provide regular updates on customer feedback and market demand.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience specifically within the Electrical Switchgear and Industrial Automation sectors.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of LV/MV switchgear components (MCBs, MCCBs, ACBs, and contactors) and automation products.
  • Field Proficiency: Highly disciplined in maintaining a consistent schedule of in-person client meetings and site visits.
  • Training Aptitude: Ability to explain technical product features and the value of LK Switchgear training to potential clients.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical customer needs into actionable business enquiries.
