We are looking for a proactive, organised and enthusiastic Marketing Events & Digital Marketing Intern to support the Marketing team in executing marketing campaigns, events and day-to-day digital marketing activities. This internship provides hands-on exposure to event management, social media operations, competitor research, paid advertising analysis and marketing performance reporting.
Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of marketing events, roadshows and branch activations.
Support event logistics, including venue setup, vendor coordination, inventory management and event materials.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, external vendors and event partners to ensure smooth event execution.
Prepare marketing collateral, promotional materials and event giveaways.
Provide on-site support during events, including registration, customer engagement and event coordination.
Assist in post-event administration, reporting and evaluation.
Assist with scheduling and publishing social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Review scheduled posts for accuracy, including captions, links, hashtags and formatting before publishing.
Maintain and update the social media content calendar.
Monitor social media engagement and support community management where required.
Monitor competitor social media activities, including content themes, posting frequency, creative formats and engagement performance.
Research social media trends, high-performing content and relevant industry topics.
Conduct competitor paid advertising research, including creative approaches, messaging, promotions, calls-to-action and campaign strategies.
Collect and organise advertising references from Meta Ad Library and other relevant platforms.
Support market research and campaign-related research initiatives.
Assist with tracking social media and paid advertising performance.
Compile and update weekly and monthly marketing reports.
Pull and organise key performance metrics, including follower growth, reach, impressions, engagement, video views and campaign performance.
Maintain reporting spreadsheets, dashboards, presentation decks and marketing trackers.
Highlight significant performance trends and observations for the marketing team's review.
Organise marketing assets, campaign files and documentation.
Support content research and campaign administration.
Perform general marketing, operational and administrative duties as assigned.
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management or a related discipline.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive, resourceful and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics or social media management tools is an advantage.
Willing to work occasional weekends or outside regular office hours to support marketing events when required.
Hands-on experience in marketing event planning and execution.
Exposure to digital marketing, social media management and campaign reporting.
Practical experience in competitor research, marketing analytics and performance tracking.
