Job Description

The Marketing Engineer role is a hybrid position that combines engineering understanding with marketing communication. The role involves building the company's digital presence, creating technical marketing content, and supporting international business development initiatives.

Requirements

Position Title: Marketing Engineer

Location: Hyderabad, India (On-site)

Experience: 2 – 5 Years

Reporting To: Founder & CEO

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Marketing & Online Presence
  • Manage and grow the company's LinkedIn presence, including company page and executive profiles.
  • Plan and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings for engineering service keywords.
  • Monitor website traffic, engagement metrics, and lead generation using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
  • Coordinate with external SEO and digital marketing agencies for website improvements.
  • Manage content scheduling and posting calendar across digital platforms.
  • Content Creation & Brand Communication
  • Create technical marketing content such as:
    • Service brochures
    • Project capability documents
    • LinkedIn posts
    • Case studies
    • Corporate presentations
  • Convert technical engineering services into client-friendly marketing content.
  • Maintain brand consistency across marketing materials and templates.
  • Support preparation of company capability presentations and proposal introduction sections.
  • Develop and manage company newsletters and email marketing campaigns.
  • Brand Building & Market Positioning
  • Research industry trends, competitor positioning, and market opportunities in engineering consultancy.
  • Develop content for target markets:
    • India (Domestic EPC & Owner Operators)
    • International markets (USA, Southeast Asia, Europe)
  • Support digital marketing campaigns related to industry events and trade shows.
  • Assist in thought leadership and LinkedIn visibility for company leadership.
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare monthly marketing performance reports.
  • Track:
    • Website traffic
    • LinkedIn engagement
    • Keyword rankings
    • Lead generation metrics
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve marketing strategy and campaign performance.
Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Background

  • B.Tech / B.E. in any Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Civil preferred) – Mandatory
  • Digital Marketing certification or Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing / Communications – Preferred

Technical Skills

  • LinkedIn marketing for B2B marketing
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator (preferred)
  • SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page SEO, link building)
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Google Search Console
  • Canva / Adobe Express or similar design tools
  • Email marketing tools (Breve / Mailchimp)
  • Microsoft Office / PowerPoint

Domain Understanding (Preferred)

  • Engineering consultancy or EPC industry knowledge
  • Oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical plant industry awareness
  • Ability to understand technical documents and engineering services

Soft Skills

  • Excellent written English and professional communication
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple content tasks
  • Self-driven and organized
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing company environment
  • Interest in AI tools and digital marketing technologies
