We are hiring a Head of Marketing Design at a leadership level to be a Creative Director for the Cashfree brand and suite of products.

This role involves creative direction, stakeholder management, and people management.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A good design portfolio that includes industry-best work in brand creation and marketing, with good examples of visual design and art, motion graphics, and loveable copy. We're also looking for candidates with experience in using AI to accomplish their goals.
  • An expertise in the full creative design process that is clearly shown in your portfolio, with successful execution for multiple brands and campaigns.
  • The portfolio must have creation and understanding of brand books and ways to implement it in campaigns.
  • Over 3 years of experience in managing designers in a high performance and quality team.
  • Good understanding and experience of working with design agencies.
  • High energy and enterprise that inspires the teams they're working with.

Responsibilities

  • Drive initiatives to push the bar on what our brand can achieve with good design. Lead initiatives on social media, online campaigns, performance marketing, and offline events like Fintech festivals, conferences, and meet-ups.
  • Liaise closely with the Marketing team to co-own campaign performance—define and track key metrics such as brand recall, CTR, engagement, and creative effectiveness.
  • Lead post-campaign retrospectives alongside marketing stakeholders to analyze outcomes, gather insights, and refine creative direction for future initiatives.
  • Understand the suite of Cashfree products and plan how to market it with the target users such as merchants from SMB and Enterprise sectors. This will include supporting updates on the Cashfree website, e-books, white papers, social media posts, and other publications.
  • Support the HR and PR teams for reports, documents, paraphernalia, etc. for effective internal and external communication and branding.
  • As a manager of a team of around 6-8 designers (designers, creative writers, motion designers), set a high bar for quality and speed of shipping. Review the team's work and chemistry regularly. Push them to design better, experiment more, and set new trends. It should clearly be visible that the team is having fun and creating inspirational and loveable work.
  • Drive team alignment, progress communication, and end-to-end design execution for all marketing initiatives.
  • For design expertise that is not done best internally or for better productivity, onboard and liaise with agencies. You will be responsible for agency work to be delivered on time with good quality.
  • Build good rapport with, and contribute to, and gather good support from other teams such as Product, Tech, and Sales for GTM strategies and pod/org initiatives.
