Role Objective
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for enhancing the brand visibility of MIT-SICS and driving student enrollments for our unique BA (Administration) and MA (Public Administration) programs. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between the school's academic excellence and aspiring civil service candidates, managing both on-ground promotional activities and digital outreach.
Key Responsibilities
1. Branding & Campaign Management
- Execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote the Degree + UPSC Preparation concept.
- Coordinate the design and distribution of marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and banners, ensuring alignment with MIT-ADT University brand guidelines.
- Manage outdoor visibility, including hoarding placements and kiosk setups in strategic educational hubs.
2. Outreach & Lead Generation
- Organize and represent MIT-SICS at education fairs, coaching institute seminars, and school/college activation events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local junior colleges and coaching centers to facilitate student orientations.
- Identify and implement tie-ups with residential societies and community groups for awareness drives.
3. Digital & Content Coordination
- Collaborate with the central digital team to create engaging content for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) highlighting student achievements and guest lectures by bureaucrats.
- Draft compelling email and SMS campaigns for prospective leads.
- Assist in updating website content to reflect current admission cycles and success stories.
4. Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and manage logistics for campus events such as Open Days, mock test series, and interactive sessions with UPSC toppers/officers.
- Coordinate on-ground logistics for seminars and webinars, including registration desk management and lead collection.
5. Analysis & Reporting
- Track and report the performance of various marketing channels and campaigns.
- Maintain an accurate database (CRM) of prospective students and follow up on inquiries to ensure conversion.
- Monitor competitor activities and trends in the civil services coaching industry.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in educational marketing, admissions, or field-based marketing roles. (Experience in the UPSC/Competitive exam sector is a major plus).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools and social media platforms.
- Attributes: High energy, proactive mindset, and the ability to travel locally for fieldwork and events.
