Role Overview
At Karkhana.io, we are reimagining how manufacturing supply chains operate by bridging the gap between customers and suppliers through technology, transparency, and agility. We are looking for a Marketing Communications Manager who can translate complex manufacturing capabilities into compelling, business-driven narratives. This role will be responsible for building brand authority, generating high-quality B2B leads, and positioning Karkhana as a modern, forward-thinking manufacturing partner. This is a high-ownership role ideal for someone who enjoys both strategy and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communications Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute an integrated, multi-channel marketing communications strategy aligned with business goals.
- Create quarterly and annual communication roadmaps with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes.
- Define brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and tone of voice across channels.
2. Content & Collateral Development
- Conceptualize and create high-impact marketing collateral including:
- Brochures, pitch decks, case studies, whitepapers
- Website content, blogs, newsletters
- Sales enablement materials
- Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
- Work closely with design teams to translate messaging into compelling visual assets.
3. Digital Marketing & Demand Generation
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across:
- Social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
- Email marketing & automation
- Paid performance campaigns
- Drive demand generation and lead generation initiatives.
- Optimize content and campaigns for engagement, conversions, and ROI.
4. Campaign Performance & Analytics
- Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance using relevant tools and dashboards.
- Generate insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Continuously refine messaging, targeting, and channel mix based on data.
5. Budget & Vendor Management
- Manage communications budgets efficiently to maximize ROI.
- Work with freelancers, designers, content writers, and agencies to develop marketing assets.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (sales, product, leadership) to ensure alignment.
6. PR & Brand Visibility
- Lead planning and execution of PR initiatives.
- Build relationships with media, industry publications, and partners.
- Manage press releases, thought leadership articles, and event communications.
What We're Looking For:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or any related discipline.
Experience:
- 35 years of experience in marketing communications in:
- A corporate environment, OR
- An account management / account planning role in a creative or advertising agency.
Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong storytelling ability with attention to detail.
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
