Job Description – Marketing & Communications Intern

Duration: 3 Months

Employment Type: Internship

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

About The Role

ERIC Robotics is looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing & Communications Intern to support its marketing activities.

The role involves managing day-to-day marketing communication, creating engaging content, coordinating with designers and vendors, and supporting events and promotional activities.

This is primarily a marketing and communications role, not a graphic-design role.

Key Responsibilities

• Content & Social Media: Manage LinkedIn content, write posts, brochures, case studies, emails and website content.
• Marketing Communication: Simplify technical robotics information into clear, engaging content for different audiences.
• Events & Exhibitions: Support expos, product demonstrations, booth branding, promotional materials and event coordination.
• Creative & Video: Create basic Canva creatives, edit short videos and coordinate with designers and vendors.
• Presentations & Documentation: Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations, marketing documents, content calendars and trackers.
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with printers, fabricators and agencies to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
• Marketing Analytics: Track social-media engagement, monitor competitors and prepare basic marketing-performance reports.
  
  

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, BBA, BMS, Mass Media, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good content writing, copywriting and storytelling abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft 365 and Canva.
• Basic video-editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar tools.
• Understanding of LinkedIn and social-media marketing.
• Good organisational, coordination and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Previous marketing, content creation or social-media internship experience.
• Exposure to event management, B2B marketing or vendor coordination.
• Portfolio of content, creatives, presentations or videos.
• Interest in robotics, automation and technology.
