Job Description

Designation: Executive-Communications & Branding (YouTube Content & Marketing)

Department: Communications & Branding

Location: IIAD Campus, B-26, Okhla Phase – I, New Delhi - 110020

Reports To: Manager- Communications & Branding

Work Timings :

09.00 am – 06.00 pm (Monday to Friday)

10.00 am - 05.00 pm (Saturday), 2 Saturdays off (Work from office ONLY)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a YouTube Content & Marketing Executive to join our Communications & Branding team at AND Academy. This is not a typical writing role. You will help shape how our stories come alive on YouTube, from masterclasses and learner journeys to career-driven narratives that people want to click on and watch.

If you have a strong instinct for storytelling, understand audience behaviour, and can translate ideas into compelling video-first content, this role is for you.

You'll work closely with a dynamic team to craft narratives that do more than just communicate. They should engage, build trust, and help aspiring designers see themselves in the journey.

Qualification:

  • YouTube & Storytelling Instinct - Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear understanding of what makes people click, watch, and stay. Ability to shape ideas into engaging, video-first narratives.
  • Content & Creative Thinking - A creative mindset with a sharp eye for storytelling, visual aesthetics, and brand consistency across thumbnails, titles, and video formats.
  • Platform Fluency (YouTube + Short-form) - Experience or strong familiarity with YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Shorts. Ability to conceptualise content formats, hooks, and series that work on these platforms.
  • Basic Design & Production Awareness - Working knowledge of tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Canva. Understanding of how video content is structured, edited, and packaged is a plus.
  • Data & Performance Orientation - Comfort with analytics tools (YouTube Studio, social insights, etc.) and the ability to interpret performance metrics like CTR, watch time, and retention to improve content.
  • Execution & Ownership - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to take ownership of ideas from concept to publishing.

Preferred Background:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, marketing, media, or related fields
  • Internship or work experience in content, YouTube, social media, or education-led content
  • Exposure to creator-led content, storytelling formats, or digital learning platforms is a strong advantage

Job Description:

  • YouTube Content & Distribution- Plan and execute video-first content for YouTube, including masterclasses, learner journeys, and career-focused storytelling. Own the flow from ideation to publishing.
  • Content Ideation & Packaging- Develop strong content ideas based on audience insights and trends. Craft compelling titles, thumbnails, and hooks to drive higher click-through rates.
  • Audience Engagement- Create content that resonates with aspiring designers, builds trust, and encourages deeper engagement across YouTube and short-form platforms.
  • Short-form Content- Conceptualise and produce YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels to drive discovery and funnel audiences to long-form content.
  • Performance & Optimisation- Track and analyse performance using YouTube Studio and other tools. Continuously improve content based on key metrics.
  • Collaboration & Execution- Work closely with educators, marketing teams, and editors to shape content into strong narratives while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Campaign Integration- Support marketing campaigns with video-led storytelling and ensure content aligns with growth and lead-generation goals.
  • Creator & Influencer Collaboration- Identify and collaborate with relevant creators and industry voices to expand reach and build credibility.
  • Trend Awareness- Stay updated with YouTube and social media trends, formats, and algorithm shifts to keep content fresh and competitive.

Success Metrics (KPIs) :

  • Click-Through Rate (CTR): Improve video CTR through stronger titles and thumbnails
  • Watch Time & Retention: Increase average view duration and audience retention across videos
  • Subscriber Growth: Drive consistent growth in YouTube subscribers month-on-month
  • Views & Reach: Improve overall video views and channel reach
  • Engagement: Increase likes, comments, shares, and overall interaction on content
  • Lead Generation: Contribute to leads driven via YouTube content and campaigns
  • Short-form Performance: Growth in reach and engagement from Shorts and Reels

Remuneration :

30-40k/month(Negotiable and commensurate with skills and qualifications)
