Job Description

Role Overview

We're looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented Marketing Automation Specialist to support lifecycle marketing initiatives. This role focuses on enabling data-driven customer journeys, ensuring seamless integrations, and supporting campaign execution through strong QA, data handling, and troubleshooting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lifecycle & Journey Enablement

  • Set up, test, and manage event-based triggers and custom attributes within Braze
  • Enable personalised customer experiences by ensuring accurate data flow from platforms like Snowflake and Hightouch into Braze
  • Support lifecycle teams in building and optimising customer journeys

2. Data, APIs & Integrations

  • Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines across platforms (Braze, Snowflake, Hightouch, etc.)
  • Configure and optimise APIs, webhooks, and integrations for seamless cross-platform data synchronisation
  • Build and troubleshoot dynamic audience segments for campaign readiness

3. QA, Testing & Troubleshooting

  • Perform end-to-end campaign QA including segmentation, triggers, personalisation logic, Liquid syntax, and platform configurations
  • Support A/B and multivariate testing; identify opportunities to optimise messaging, timing, and flow logic
  • Troubleshoot campaign and data issues to ensure smooth execution

4. Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Use SQL to analyse campaign data, troubleshoot journeys, and generate actionable insights
  • Assist in building dashboards, tagging frameworks, and performance reports
  • Contribute to improving personalisation strategies through data-driven recommendations

5. Collaboration & Documentation

  • Act as a technical support partner for lifecycle and CRM teams
  • Maintain clear documentation of integrations, events, automations, and workflows
  • Enhance internal enablement resources such as QA checklists, tagging frameworks, and playbooks

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-4 years of experience in Marketing Automation, CRM, or MarTech environments
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, APIs, and webhooks
  • Familiarity with Braze or similar platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, Klaviyo, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of lifecycle marketing and personalisation strategies
  • Strong attention to detail with a structured QA approach
