Marketing & Sales Specialist – Flexible Packaging Industry

About the Role
RKN is looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Marketing & Sales Specialist to support business development, customer relationship management, sales coordination, and marketing activities.
This position is particularly suited for candidates with prior experience in laminates, pouches, printed films, packaging materials, or related packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Generate new business opportunities through customer visits, calls, emails, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn.
- Handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up for order conversion.
- Coordinate with production, planning, dispatch, and accounts teams for smooth order execution.
- Understand customer packaging requirements and provide appropriate product solutions.
- Maintain enquiry trackers, customer databases, and sales reports.
- Gather market intelligence, competitor information, and customer feedback.
- Support branding, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Experience in sales, marketing, customer relationship management, or business development.
- Good understanding of flexible packaging products such as:
- Printed Laminates
- Multi-layer Films
- Pouches
- Roll Forms
- Food Packaging Materials
- Industrial Packaging Solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Language Requirements
- Fluent spoken English
- Fluent spoken Tamil
- Fluent spoken Hindi (Mandatory)
Preferred Skills
- Strong customer engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent follow-up and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Email, WhatsApp, and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Experience handling key accounts and industrial customers will be an added advantage.
