Job Description
Interested in how people build stronger romantic relationships
Steady (@steady.sg) is a relationship learning community for working professionals in Singapore. We run workshops, courses, and events that help adults date better, communicate more clearly, and build relationships with intention. We're not a dating app, a matchmaking service, or couples therapy — we're where people go to learn the skills that make relationships work, at whatever stage they're in.
Steady is a sub-brand of Friendzone (@friendzonesg), an 8-year-old social enterprise focused on friendship and community building. You'll be based primarily on Steady, with visibility into Friendzone's work as our parent brand — two connected areas of the same mission, seen from the inside.
This role suits Communications, Media, Film, or Marketing students who already have a handle on filming and editing short-form video, and want to build on that with real marketing and content strategy experience — with ownership over upcoming campaigns.
What you'll work on
- Short-form video for Steady's channels — a mix of trendy reels, event promos, narrative/talking-head pieces, recurring relationship-insight series, and podcast or testimonial content, filmed and edited for Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Content strategy across Steady's channels, translating relationship science on dating, compatibility, communication, and connection into clear, specific short-form content: video scripts, captions, carousels
- Marketing support for Steady's programmes — Mixers by Steady, Heart to Hearts by Steady, and our upcoming Date with Intention course
- Community storytelling: documenting participant experiences and outcomes from Steady events and courses
- Platform growth, engagement, and basic SEO across Steady's website and course pages
- Occasional support on Friendzone content, for cross-brand campaigns or coverage
What you'll learn
- How to plan, shoot, and edit short-form video that's specific and useful, not vague or performative
- How to build a brand's voice and hold it consistently across video, copy, and platforms
- How marketing supports a staged programme
- Real-world experience running content and event marketing for an early-stage brand, from strategy through to execution
What makes this internship different
- How to build a brand's voice and hold it consistently across video, copy, and platforms
- How to turn video and content skills into a marketing strategy, not just standalone pieces
- How marketing supports a programme
- Real-world experience running content and event marketing for an early-stage brand, from strategy through to execution
Important to know before you apply
Steady's content deals directly with dating and romantic relationships — you'll be filming, writing, and present at events built around them. Comfort discussing dating and relationship topics professionally, being on camera or behind it at mixer-style events, and basic video editing (CapCut, Premiere, or similar) matter more here than they would for a general marketing internship.

If you're studying Marketing, Communications, Media, Film, or a related field — already comfortable filming and editing video, and want to build real marketing experience on top of that — we'd love to hear from you.
