Job Description

1. Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement annual marketing plans aligned with business objectives, market potential, and revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends, competitor activities, and new growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, R&D, and Leadership to define value propositions and go-to-market strategies.

2. Brand Management & Positioning

  • Strengthen's brand presence in the chemicals segment through targeted messaging, campaigns, and digital initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all materials, channels, and customer touchpoints.
  • Create and refine positioning for chemical product lines, innovation initiatives, and sustainability narratives.

3. Marketing Communications

  • Plan and execute integrated communication campaigns (digital, print, events) to generate leads and build brand visibility.
  • Develop marketing collaterals: brochures, product presentations, case studies, videos, newsletters, and technical content in partnership with internal teams and agencies.
  • Manage website content, social media messaging, and digital marketing assets related to the Chemicals business.

4. Product & Technical Marketing

  • Translate technical product features into clear, compelling value propositions for customers across industries (e.g., power, F&B, pharma, textile, manufacturing).
  • Support new product launches through GTM plans, promotional campaigns, training materials, and customer engagement programs.
  • Work with R&D and product teams to gather insights and communicate product innovations effectively.

5. Demand Generation & Sales Enablement

  • Run targeted campaigns, webinars, and digital initiatives to generate qualified leads for the sales team.
  • Develop sales toolscatalogues, application notes, comparison sheetsto support field sales teams.
  • Measure ROI and optimize marketing programs based on performance metrics.

6. Events, Exhibitions & Customer Engagement

  • Plan, organise, and manage participation in industry events, seminars, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Drive customer engagement initiatives such as user workshops, technical sessions, customer success stories, and loyalty programs.

7. Internal Communications & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Work closely with sales, supply chain, service, and manufacturing teams to drive aligned messaging and internal communication.
  • Support internal campaigns, employee newsletters, and updates relevant to the Chemicals business.

8. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track and report marketing performance metrics, campaign KPIs, competitor landscape, and overall market movements.
  • Provide insights-based recommendations to leadership for strategic decision-making.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

-BE/BTech Chemical & Master's in Marketing, Mass Communication, International Business

68 years of experience in B2B/industrial marketing, preferably in chemicals, water treatment, specialty chemicals, or allied industrial sectors.

Strong understanding of industrial buying behavior and technical product marketing.

Experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.

Excellent communication, storytelling, and project management skills.

-Experience with Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) platforms will be an added advantage.

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES OF THE JOB

-Should have strong acumen in Presentation, Branding Building and Brand Positioning.

-Should have strong knowledge of SEO, social Media marketing and other digital platforms.

-Improvement in brand visibility in the chemical industry

-Lead generation support to sales team
