About Us
Detail-orientated market research specialist to monitor, analyse, and report on the latest market trends and education courses offered by colleges and universities in India and internationally. Identify emerging trends, new programme launches, curriculum innovations, and competitive offerings in areas like marketing, digital marketing, data science, AI/ML, digital transformation, and faculty development.
Skim through vast sources of intelligence to deliver timely, actionable insights that can be used to strategise the educational content creation, training programmes, and other initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include
- Conduct daily/weekly scans of university websites, course catalogues, prospectuses, and official announcements from top institutions in India (e.g., IITs, IIMs, NITs, and state universities) and abroad (e.g., US, UK, Europe, Australia, and Singapore).
- Track new course launches, specialisations, certifications, MOOCs, and executive programmes, focusing on high-demand fields like digital marketing, data science, AI applications, and higher education in general.
- Gather intelligence on the course structures, durations, fees, eligibility, delivery modes (online/hybrid/offline), faculty credentials, and enrolment trends using tools like web scrapers, RSS feeds, and academic databases.
- Analyse trends such as AI integration in curricula, skill-based micro-credentials, industry partnerships, and inclusive education initiatives; produce comparative reports and dashboards.
- Maintain a centralised database of course intelligence, flagging opportunities for benchmarking against our content development projects (e.g., books on data science or AI in marketing).
- Collaborate with content developers, faculty trainers, and business teams to provide customised insights, such as competitive gaps or adaptation ideas for Indian contexts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in market research, business analytics, education, data science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in market intelligence, competitive research, or academic scanning; familiarity with the Indian higher education landscape is a plus.
- Proficiency in research tools like Google Alerts, Ahrefs/SEMrush, SimilarWeb and visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail; ability to skim large volumes of information quickly and synthesise key intelligence.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal); knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages advantageous for Indian sources.
- Passion for education trends, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
