About the Role
MagicMinds Group is developing a new Children's Education & Learning Centre in India, inspired by selected North American education models. We are looking for a curious and analytical Marketing Research Analyst Intern to work closely with the founding team on researching, validating and developing this new venture from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyse education businesses in India and North America, benchmark their programmes, curriculum, pricing, positioning, customer experience and business models, and identify market gaps and growth opportunities.
- Research North American education models, learning methodologies and children's learning centres, analyse experiential and project-based learning approaches, and identify concepts adaptable to the Indian market through research on Indian schools, after-school programmes, activity centres and alternative education models.
- Analyse competitors, programmes, pricing, curriculum and business models in India and North America.
- Define the Kids Club product vision, value proposition, target age groups, programmes, curriculum, customer personas, journeys and technology-enabled learning opportunities.
- Research pricing and revenue models, evaluate centre formats, recommend pilot centre offerings, and support product launch planning, validation and business cases.
- Prepare research reports, product documents, competitor analyses and presentations, maintain organised research databases, and present actionable recommendations using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Notion, Canva and AI tools.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed an MBA, PGDM, Product Management, Business Management, Marketing or related programme.
- Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable conducting interviews, surveys and independent research.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
- Curious, proactive, customer-centric and comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment.
Preferred: Product Management certification, relevant projects or internships, exposure to market research, interest in education or child development, and familiarity with AI tools, MVPs and product discovery.
Coding experience is not mandatory.
