Market Research and Marketing Operations Specialist

Role summary
RapidFort is hiring a specialist to make us the most informed and connected company in the cloud and containers ecosystem. You will combine structured market research, social signal monitoring, and HubSpot marketing operations to help us know who matters, what they are focused on, how we can assist them, and how to build relationships at scale.
This role is ideal for a high-ownership operator who enjoys research, systems, and execution. You will turn public open-source information about programs and leaders into clean lists, weekly briefs, and well-run outreach workflows that support RapidFort's go-to-market.
What you will do
market research
- Map key cloud and container programs and the teams that run them.
- Build and maintain prioritized account and contact lists for top container consumers and related initiatives.
- Add at least 15 qualified targets per week, with clear notes on role, relevance, and sources.
Social and signal monitoring
- Track what priority leaders and programs say publicly, especially on LinkedIn, in talks, and in official updates.
- Produce a short weekly Cloud & Containers brief that summarizes key signals and recommends concrete next steps for RapidFort.
- Maintain an archive of signals so we can spot shifts and trends over time.
AI, automation, and playbooks
- Use AI and automation tools to speed up research, standardize outputs, and keep links back to original sources.
- Set up alerts and workflows so new public information on priority accounts and leaders flows into your weekly process.
- Document simple playbooks for research, monitoring, and reporting so the system can scale.
Marketing operations (HubSpot)
- Manage core HubSpot tasks for this segment: lists, forms, segmentation, workflows, and basic reporting.
- Build automations for inbound follow up, event and webinar flows, nurture programs, and internal notifications.
- Maintain clean data, consistent naming, and dashboards that show engagement and outreach activity.
LinkedIn and relationship enablement
- Translate your research into specific LinkedIn targets and suggested messages for RapidFort leadership.
- Help track connection requests and follow ups so our social graph grows intentionally among decision makers.
Must-have
- 36+ years in research, marketing operations, or similar execution-heavy roles in B2B SaaS.
- Proven ability to run structured research on public sources and convert findings into clear, actionable outputs.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub (lists, segmentation, workflows, reporting).
- Comfort with automation and workflow tools and a mindset of building repeatable systems.
- High ownership, strong attention to detail, and reliable delivery on weekly and monthly cadences.
- Based in Bangalore, India.
Nice-to-have
- Exposure to defense-adjacent markets or public sector marketing.
- Experience with sales intelligence or OSINT-style social monitoring.
- Experience with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or n8n.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted research and monitoring workflows.
- Basic familiarity with GA4 or similar analytics tools

You will:
- Map cloud and container programs and build prioritized account and contact lists.
- Add 15 new qualified targets per week and publish a concise weekly Cloud & Containers brief.
- Monitor LinkedIn and other public channels for signals from key leaders and translate them into concrete next steps and outreach suggestions.
- Run core HubSpot ops for this segment (lists, workflows, reporting) and set up automations and AI-assisted workflows to keep everything clean and scalable.
You have:
- 36+ years in research or marketing operations in B2B SaaS.
- Strong public-source research skills, hands-on HubSpot experience, and a systems/automation mindset.
- Interest in defense, cloud, and DevSecOps.
