Hiring for Head - ETF Market Making (Min Exp 5 years in ETF Market Making)

The Corporate - A Large Capital Market Intermediary with more than 3 decades of experience across Retail , Fintech , Institutional , Prop Desk and Investment Banking .

As the Head of ETF Market Trading, you will be responsible for leading the ETF trading and market-making desk, driving execution efficiency, managing trading risk, identifying arbitrage opportunities, and building scalable trading operations. This role requires a deep understanding of ETFs, liquidity behavior, spreads, execution systems, and real time market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities ETF Market-Making & Liquidity Management

• Lead market-making activities across Equity, Gold, Debt, International, and Sectoral ETFs.

• Manage spreads, liquidity provisioning, inventory exposure, and execution quality.

• Oversee two-sided quoting strategies and optimize order placement.

Arbitrage & Relative Value Trading

• Identify and execute ETF vs underlying basket/index arbitrage opportunities.

• Monitor NAV premiums/discounts and fair value deviations.

• Develop scalable arbitrage frameworks and execution models.

Risk & Inventory Management

• Define trading limits, exposure controls, and inventory thresholds.

• Ensure disciplined execution and slippage control.

• Monitor execution impact, bid-ask spreads, and trading costs in real time.

Strategy & Infrastructure Development

• Work closely with tech and quant teams to improve execution systems and automation.

Team Leadership

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance ETF trading team.

• Conduct daily strategy discussions, post-market reviews, and performance analysis.

Market Intelligence & Macro Awareness

• Track macro events, RBI/Fed policy changes, CPI data, and volatility triggers.

• Analyze market structure changes, liquidity shifts, and institutional flow behavior.

Reporting & Performance Review

• Maintain desk-level P&L accountability.

• Present trading performance, risk metrics, and optimization insights to management.
