Key Responsibilities

  1. Market Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
  • Analyze industry reports, economic data, and market dynamics to provide actionable insights.
  1. Competitive Intelligence:
  • Monitor competitors activities, including pricing, product launches, marketing strategies, and business performance.
  • Create detailed reports and presentations summarizing competitive positioning and strategic implications.
  1. Consumer Insights:
  • Gather data on consumer preferences, behaviors, and purchasing patterns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams or external agencies to design and execute surveys, focus groups, and other research methodologies.
  1. Data Interpretation:
  • Leverage advanced tools and platforms to collect and analyze large and complex data sets.
  • Translate data into meaningful insights, trends, and forecasts that drive decision-making.
  1. Strategic Input:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align market intelligence with overall business strategy.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on market entry, expansion, or diversification opportunities.

  1. Reporting:
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track the success of business strategies using key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in market research, data analysis, management consultancy, or strategy roles.
  • Proficiency in market intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms would be an added advantage but not absolutely necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a consultative approach.
  • Proactive and self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of statistical tools and software.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their impact on market dynamics.
  • Background in management consultancy/market research with demonstrated success in project delivery and strategic advisory roles.
