KSPG Automotive India Private Limited is a part of the Rheinmetall Group Germany, which is a renowned development partner and direct supplier to the global automotive industry. KSPG India consists of two business units, one as Sensors and Actuators located in Takwe, Pune is specialised in products in the fields of emission reduction, emission control and exhaust gas recirculation systems as well as pumps. The second business Unit Bearings has two manufacturing locations, in Takwe (Pune) and in Supa (Ahmednagar), and is a leading supplier engine plain Bi-metal half bearings, flange bearings, thrust washers and bushes. Sensors & Actuator's purpose within India is Deliver Technology Solutions and generate sustainable value for all Stakeholders. FUNCTION OUTLOOK

This role is responsible for driving technical market development by executing strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and managing key customer relationships. Acting as a vital link between new customers and internal teamsincluding engineering, sales, and purchasingthe position ensures resolution of customer issues related to technical requirements and product offerings, with a focus on new market development.

Key Focus Areas:

a) Market Analysis & Promotional Activities: Conducting research and executing initiatives to support business growth.

b) Value Proposition & Lead Generation: Positioning products effectively and generating qualified customer enquiries.

c) Customer Strategy Development: Designing and implementing tailored engagement approaches.

d) Business Case Creation: Leading cross-functional efforts to develop compelling business cases. e) Customer Relationship & Product Adaptation: Building strong customer connections and supporting product customization.

Detailed Responsibilities :

  • Develop and align product growth strategies with Sales teams by leveraging market research and industry trends.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for product innovation and expansion. Lead cross-functional teams to build business cases and execute go-to-market strategies with clear value propositions.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for market development, translating customer requirements into actionable inputs for R&D and Product Development.
  • Support PMDs in crafting preliminary technical proposals and coordinating customer feedback with cross functional teams to ensure timely submission of business proposals.
  • Engage regularly with customers to gather market intelligence, promote Pierburg's technological capabilities, and enhance brand positioning.
  • Drive participation in customer-led product campaigns, tech days, exhibitions, and trade shows to reinforce Pierburg's image as a leading technology brand.
  • Collect competitive intelligence and benchmark regulatory and cultural insights to inform product strategy.
  • Assist Sales with technical presentations, RFQ documentation, cost estimation, and proposal development in close coordination with Sales KAM and Project Engineering.
  • Foster strong customer relationships during early product development stages through consistent engagement.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Successful realization of new business and measurable growth in market potential.

Qualification: Graduate Engineer (with Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Manufacturing) and Management degree qualification from reputed University.

Work Experience: 10- 15 years experience in Project Engineering, Application Engineering, Technical Marketing and Product Manager, Business Development with diverse customers. Familiarity with CAD tools, FMEA and DFMEA will be advantage.
