Job Summary
You will install, service, repair, inspect, and troubleshoot marine outboard engines to ensure optimal performance and safety on small boats and crafts. You will work closely with a team to maintain equipment and assist with related repairs.
Responsibilities
- Install marine outboard engines following technical specifications to ensure proper operation
- Service and repair outboard engines to restore and maintain functionality
- Perform routine inspections and overhauls to identify and resolve engine issues
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in outboard engines to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret service manuals to apply correct maintenance procedures
- Maintain all equipment onboard small boats and crafts collaboratively with a team of technicians
- Assist in repairing trailers as needed to support overall equipment readiness
- Prepare service reports and documentations
- Complete any ad-hoc duties assigned to support team and operational needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Hands-on experience in servicing and repairing marine outboard engines
- Ability to operate computerized diagnostic equipment
- Effective communication skills to collaborate within a technical team
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Electrical skills relevant to marine equipment maintenance
- Possession of a class 3 driver's license
