Minimum 15 years of overall experience in Shipboard Marine systems design for Commercial / Trading vessels and out of which minimum 5 years experience shall be in reputed shipyard design office engaged to design marine systems related to newbuild or conversion projects. Candidate shall have thorough knowledge of Marine systems and equipment packages.
Minimum 2 Years Experience shall be to provide basic design for utility systems for conversion projects (e.g. Heating / cooling system, fire/foam, ballast, instrument air, Drains etc)
Minimum 2 years experience in alternate fuel retrofit projects design (such as Methanol, LNG, Ammonia, hydrogen) and related feasibility studies as an input for commercial costing on different trading vessels
Candidate should have design experience on new build, conversion & Retrofits projects.
Candidate should provide marine systems and tanks related inputs to Naval architecture discipline for hull assessment and work as a team in multi discipline engineering environment.
Candidate should be familiar with different kinds of commercial vessels (VLCCs, Crude oil Tankers, Container Vessels, Bulk Carriers, LNG carriers etc.)
Candidate should have good communications skills, leadership and be able to present technical proposals to different clients as part of bidding / marketing initiatives as and when required.
