Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Marine Mechanic role based in Kochi. The Marine Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair of marine vessels and heavy equipment. Routine tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting inspections, and ensuring the optimal performance of equipment and vessels. The role will involve maintaining detailed records of performed tasks and collaborating with team members to ensure the safety and efficiency of all operations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues efficiently.
- Experience working with Heavy Equipment in a marine or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of marine systems and vessel operations.
- Ability to read technical manuals and engineering schematics.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in Marine Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the maritime industry is highly advantageous.
