Job Description

If you have a head for numbers and a genuine interest in the maritime world, this could be just the role for you. As an Executive in EPS's Marine HR - Payroll team, you will play a meaningful, hands-on role in keeping crew accounts running smoothly across a diverse fleet of vessels. From processing portage bills and managing crew allotments to handling pension arrangements and radio accounts, your work directly supports the seafarers who keep EPS's fleet moving — making it both purposeful and varied.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process monthly ships accounts for assigned vessels and generate monthly portage bills.
  • Manage crew allotments of bank details and process monthly allotments accurately and on time.
  • Support Cash to Master arrangements for assigned vessels.
  • Conduct Master briefings on ships accounts reporting procedures.
  • Compile monthly Victualling & Slopchest reports and Port Representation reports.
  • Administer special allotments as required.
  • Process radio invoices for approval and prepare the relevant journal entries and payments.
  • Calculate and process crew pension claims, arrange payments, and prepare journal entries for pension redemptions.
  • Prepare journal entries for Field Staff and New Building Site-office Staff costs.
  • Maintain and update departmental records and on-the-job training plans as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Accounting.
  • 2–3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the shipping industry.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in spoken and written English.
  • Detail-oriented and hands-on, with the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player who takes ownership of their responsibilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with strong MS Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion is an advantage.
