Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair marine engine systems including propulsion, fuel, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on marine vessels to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Install and troubleshoot marine engines and associated systems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections performed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and marine engineers to address complex mechanical issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding marine engine operations.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-10 years of experience in marine engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in marine engine systems, including diesel and gasoline engines.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in the marine industry.
- Certification in marine engineering or related technical qualifications is preferred.
