Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new crew (marine and construction) personnel.
- Coordinate crew planning, scheduling, mobilization, and rotation for assigned vessels.
- Ensure full compliance with MLC 2006 requirements, flag state regulations, STCW, and company procedures.
- Verify and maintain crew certification, visas, medicals, training records, and travel documentation.
- Liaise with clients regarding crew changes and operational requirements.
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and logistics for joining and departing crew members.
- Maintain accurate crewing records and databases.
- Monitor crew employment agreements, payroll inputs, leave schedules, and contract durations.
- Support vessel audits, inspections, and internal compliance reviews.
- Handle seafarer welfare matters and provide support regarding onboard concerns or employment issues.
- Track certificate expiry dates and coordinate refresher training where required.
- Prepare reports related to crewing status, compliance, and operational KPIs.
- Act as a point of contact for urgent crew-related issues, such as emergency medical evacuations or short-notice replacements
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in marine crewing, shipping operations, or offshore personnel coordination.
- Strong working knowledge of MLC 2006, STCW, and international maritime regulations.
- Experience coordinating multinational crews and offshore or commercial vessel operations.
- Familiarity with crew management systems and maritime databases.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple crew changes simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and compliance management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook.
