Job Description

Role DescriptionChief Engineer (Engine Superintendent)
He will oversee the technical performance, maintenance, and safety of assigned vessels, ensuring optimal reliability and compliance with regulatory and company standards. This full-time, on-site role for Pan India ports location involves planning and monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing machinery and equipment issues, and coordinating dry-docking and major repairs with shipyards and vendors.
Qualifications
- Strong marine engineering expertise, including operation and maintenance of main propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and shipboard equipment.
- Proficiency in technical management of vessels, including planned maintenance systems, repair planning, dry-dock supervision, and coordination with shipyards and service providers.
- Knowledge of maritime regulations and standards, including DG Shipping rules, classification society requirements, flag state regulations, and safety and environmental compliance (ISM, ISPS, MARPOL).
