Position Summary
The Project Manager leads the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives. He is accountable for ensuring projects meet strategic goals, stays within scope, and are completed on time and within budget by managing teams, identifying and mitigating risks, and coordinating cross-functional resources

Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Scoping: Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, translating them into detailed project plans.
- Resource & Budget Management: Allocate team members, equipment, and finances efficiently while tracking costs and controlling expenditures.
- Risk & Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify potential bottlenecks (e.g., budget overruns, delays) and implement strategies to minimize risks.
- Team Leadership: Assemble, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams to ensure maximum performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, executives, and the project team, providing regular progress updates and status reports.
- Performance Evaluation: Measure project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement
Required Skills & Competencies
Key Technical Skills (Hard Skills)
- Methodologies: Expertise in Agile & Scrum (e.g., sprints, backlogs) or traditional Waterfall approaches.
- Planning & Scheduling: Creating work breakdown structures (WBS), Gantt charts, and managing project milestones.
- Budget & Cost Management: Forecasting costs, tracking spending, and controlling the budget throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk & Scope Management: Identifying potential roadblocks, mitigating risks, and preventing scope creep.
- Tool Proficiency: Working knowledge of project management software such as Jira, Trello, MS Project, or Asana.
Key Interpersonal Skills (Soft Skills)
- Stakeholder Management: Communicating project statuses, risks, and required actions clearly to executives, vendors, and clients.
- Leadership & Team Motivation: Guiding cross-functional teams without direct authority and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Conflict Resolution & Negotiation: Mediating disagreements between team members or negotiating resources and deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Thinking critically when timelines shift or deliverables are blocked to find actionable solutions.

Educational Qualification
- Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field. An MBA or PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Experience: 3+ years of project/program management experience specifically within the mechanical engineering or manufacturing industry
