Job Title: Procurement Executive (Plastic Design Exposure)

Job Summary
We are looking for a Procurement Executive with 3+ years of experience, preferably with exposure to plastic design components. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management, and procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely availability of materials. The role requires strong communication skills and flexibility to travel to vendor or client sites when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for direct and indirect materials.
- Source and develop vendors, especially for plastic components and related manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize purchase orders.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams for material specifications and requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials in line with project timelines.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance.
- Manage RFQs, cost comparisons, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and documentation.
- Visit vendor/client sites as required for inspections, audits, or coordination.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement/Sourcing.
- Exposure to plastic design components / plastic manufacturing processes is mandatory.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of SAP MM or any ERP system is preferred.
- Ability to travel to onsite locations when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of BOM, drawings, and technical specifications.
