Job Description

Pradeepit Consulting Services is seeking a dedicated MapleWave Production Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role requires strong technical expertise in the Telecom domain and hands-on experience with MapleWave Transact POS systems. You'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, managing system upgrades, and collaborating with development teams to enhance our software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Support: Respond to customer support tickets and inquiries regarding Maplewave software.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to system functionality, data integrity, and user access.
  • System Maintenance: Perform system upgrades and patching to ensure users are on the latest version of Maplewave.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent disruptions.
  • User Training: Provide user training and guidance on best practices for using Maplewave features.
  • Collaboration & Improvement: Collaborate with development teams to report bugs and suggest improvements for the software.

Key Technical Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Inventory process flow and POS systems, specifically MapleWave Transact.
  • Proficiency in UNIX and MySQL.
  • Experience with OpenShift cluster-based architecture.
  • Skilled in issue tracking and driving resolution across multiple teams and vendors.
  • Extensive experience using Remedy for issue management.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with proven customer-facing experience.
  • Willingness to travel for short or long-term assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Typically seeking candidates with 5-8 years of support experience in the Telecom domain.
