Instructions: Drive and coordinate the execution of Shift operations for Generator shop (New & Service) with Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost (SQDC). Ensure alignment of different shift operation to achieve OTD & shop Utilization. Demonstrate appropriate managerial skill & behavior to guide the team and standard work/Daily Management System (DMS) implementation.
Your Role
- Zero deviation in Safety standards, Promote EHS Concern reporting among technicians & drive for EHS adherence at shop floor.
- Promote Open Reporting on any quality concern & work cohesively for fixing the issues. Adapt with Nuclear safety behavior & culture (in line with ISO- 9001 and ISO- 19443 Standards)
- Plan monthly manufacturing schedule/queue along with Planning & monitor the shop progress. Any deviation need to develop recovery plan & action for mitigation
- Monitor shift wise and daily progress of manufacturing along with technical support on job of all work stations with Loss analysis if any & apply lean methodology to improve further.
- Coordinate with Stakeholders like Quality/MMI for any customer hold points/manufacturing input requirements and Daily Management System (DMS) ownership
- Book daily hours in SAP based on manufacturing progress
- Closely work with Process engineer for any improvement on current manufacturing process/new upcoming projects.
- Resource planning of execution team, and People management.
- Maintain and Update Skill Matrix of all technicians along with their development plan.
- Maintain housekeeping (5S), Guide, monitor and supervise compliance with all safety standard and environment policy and norms (in line with ISO- 14001 and ISO - 45001) to ensure safe and healthy working environment.
- Build healthy relations with work force & strive for better shop/working environment.
- Capability to perform the operation by self and develop operators to achieve required skill sets.
- Understanding of nuclear safety culture and ITNS-I & A (Important To Nuclear Safety- Item & Activity and CFSI.
Basic Qualifications(requirements)
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma or equivalent: Mechanical/Electrical.
- 3+ years hands on experience in shop operation & supervision in similar kind of industry.
- Well versed with MS-Office Tools and SAP.
- Experience in handling Generator stator bars shop operations.
