One of our client Hiring a Production Supervisor in Kottayam with 5 to 10 years experience in plant management, factory operations, and rice plant production oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers on assigned shifts.
- Ensure that production schedules are met while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality control.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain optimal output.
- Train and mentor production staff on proper operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to production workers.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports, including production output, downtime, and quality control data.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, quality control, and engineering, to resolve production issues and implement improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure smooth production flow and minimize waste.
