The Opportunity

Plans and/or controls inventory of finished goods for sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory mixing points to meet sales and distribution demand. Analyzes inventory levels, inventory positioning, and planned production and sales forecasts. Develops and maintains inputs to inventory system, including network changes, lead-times, cost and delivery expectations, past and future promotional events, and new product introductions. Coordinates with traffic, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate routing, scheduling, and storing of goods. A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include: Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead a team within a production unit or line in the execution of production processes to transform parts and raw materials into Hitachi energy products in a timely, cost-effective manner. Ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, quality and safety standards and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, implement quality assurance programs and conduct regular inspections
  • Manage production budgets and costs, monitoring expenditures and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • Supervise daily production operationsto ensure targets for quantity, quality, and cost are met, coordinating with teams across manufacturing, procurement, and quality control department.
  • Plan and schedule production activities, including resource allocation, workflow optimization, and inventory management to maintain smooth operations
  • Lead, train, and motivate production staff, conduct performance reviews, team meetings, and skill development programs
  • Problem-solving and process improvement, addressing production issues, recommending enhancements, and implementing best practices to increase productivity
  • Coordinate with external partners, such as co-manufacturers or suppliers, to ensure timely delivery and product quality Product Groups
  • Ensure uninterrupted functioning of production line throughout the year
  • Timely completion of the monthly planned products and targets
  • Minimize the customer complaints, enhance the customer delight and satisfaction
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Should have minimum Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. from reputed university and having minimum 5 to 7 years of production experience
  • Should have complete knowledge on SAP as well as similar products.
  • Should be able to handle the subordinates efficiently with care
  • Understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, quality control, and safety standards
  • Leadership and communication: Strong ability to manage teams, communicate effectively across departments, and resolve conflicts
  • Analytical and organizational skills: Ability to analyze production data, monitor performance metrics, and optimize workflows
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
