Position Summary

Manufacturing Engineering Shared Services Specialist will provide centralized support for Manufacturing Engineering, Plant Operations, Maintenance, and Launch Teams through documentation management, SAP master data administration, Power BI reporting support, APQP/PPAP documentation control, and manufacturing data governance.

The role will be responsible for maintaining manufacturing documentation, supporting launch readiness, managing SAP transactions, asset tracking, MRO analysis, BOM and Routing updates, and ensuring data accuracy across manufacturing systems.

The position requires strong knowledge of Manufacturing Documentation, APQP/PPAP, SAP, Advanced Excel, Power BI, MRO Management, TPM/PM activities, Engineering Change Management, and Continuous Improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manufacturing Documentation & Data Management (50%)

Manufacturing Documentation

• Create and maintain:
• Work Instructions (WI)
• SOPs
• Manufacturing Breakdown Sheets
• Process Documentation
• Equipment Checklists
• Error Proofing Checklists
• Hazardous Energy Control Documentation
• Maintain revision-controlled manufacturing documents.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and shop-floor usability.
• Coordinate document approvals and revision tracking.

APQP / PPAP Support

• Create and maintain:
• Process Flow Diagram (PFD)
• PFMEA
• Control Plans
• Launch Documentation

• Ensure complete alignment between:
• APQP
• PPAP
• Process Flow
• PFMEA
• Manufacturing Documents
• Support Launch Readiness Reviews and Manufacturing Audits.

Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain:
• Capacity Charts
• Manufacturing KPI Reports
• Equipment Tracking Records
• Asset Registers
• Launch Readiness Dashboards

• Collect, validate and enter manufacturing data into:
• Excel
• Power BI
• Power Apps
• Manufacturing Reporting Tools

2. SAP & Manufacturing Systems Support (50%)

SAP Master Data

• Maintain SAP Equipment Masters.
• Create and update:
• BOMs
• Routings
• Work Centers
• Production Master Data

• Support SAP Data Validation and Audits.

PM / TPM Support

• Create and maintain:
• PM Activities
• TPM Plans
• Maintenance Schedules

• Update maintenance records in SAP.

MRO Administration

• Create and maintain MRO records.
• Perform obsolete and aging inventory analysis.
• Coordinate disposition actions with plant stakeholders.
• Maintain MRO inventory accuracy.

Purchase & Tooling Support

• Create:

• Track tooling requirements and implementation.

Management of Change
