Manufacturing Engineer

THE ROLE:

We need a team player to work with internal team and also manage Contract Manufacturer on Quality, Process and Bill of Material (BoM).

THE PERSON:

You need to have an excellence communication skill and Contract Manufacturing management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and Setup Product BOM for box build based Products.

• Liaise closely with NPI Program Managers, Engineering and Contract Manufacturers on BOM setups.

• Ensure vendors/subcontractors are manufacturing products according to product specifications.

• Perform BOM validation and work with respective business team to resolve BOM issues.

• Ensure that all manufacturing product specifications and procedures are in place for box build Assembly.

• Drive improvements and work closely with Contract Manufacturers for issue resolution and opportunities for improvement.

• Manage packaging and labelling design for mass production.

• Setup test and validation process at Contract Manufacturers.

• Perform Failure analysis for any quality issues.

• Manage change process control of products throughout the lifecycle.

• First article inspection documentation readiness.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in Engineering Change Orders management.

• Strong experience in Product Lifecycle Management of ECO/ECR process for Product BOM release.

• Demonstrated knowledge in PCBA process and leadership skills to drive BOM changes and influence with cross functional team to implement the changes in time.

• Strong knowledge in PCBA BOM structure and revision changes control.

• Knowledge in ERP Systems.

• Strong 8D Problem Solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects BOM and product specifications release.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent with minimum 2 years working experience in PCBA Industry.
