Key Responsibilities
- Capture Manufacturing related commodities by referring various engineering drawings helpful in Should Cost and Inventory requirements.
- Data extraction from engineering drawings would focus on the ability to extract and interpret data from technical drawings to support tasks like cost estimation, design verification, and material ordering.
- Data management using Advanced Excel Formulas
- Data Extraction by Engineering drawing reading
- Raw material and Finish weight Calculation
- Analysing and Deciding Various Manufacturing process
- Data Capturing of Various Special processes
- Develop and maintain part cost estimates
- Conduct teardowns of competing product
- Present results from ongoing individual workgroup competitive assessments
- Collaborate with the Advanced Manufacturing & Supply Chain Engineering
- Global Supply Management divisions in developing and maintaining cost methods and models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the VECE COE to implement solutions and drive the successful execution of component engineering initiatives
