About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer with strong expertise in Aerospace Manufacturing, CNC Machining, and Quality & Process Engineering. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in APQP, PPAP, FAI, Supplier Development, or CAPP (Computer Aided Process Planning).
This role involves working across manufacturing processes, supplier quality, tooling design, and engineering operations, ensuring high-quality production aligned with aerospace standards and safety requirements. You will collaborate with global stakeholders and suppliers to drive manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Drive manufacturing engineering activities for CNC machining, special processes, and production readiness
- Execute and support APQP, PPAP, and FAI processes for new product introduction and qualification
- Develop and optimize process plans (CAPP), stage drawings, and manufacturing workflows
- Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and CoS drawings for production efficiency
- Manage and support supplier development and supplier quality activities
- Ensure adherence to GD&T standards, metrology practices, and aerospace quality norms
- Perform root cause analysis using 8D and Six Sigma methodologies
- Work on surface treatments, special processes, and manufacturing validations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with global stakeholders and vendors
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or Aerospace Engineering
- Strong experience in manufacturing engineering and CNC machining processes
- Expertise in at least one domain:
- APQP / PPAP / FAI processes
- Tooling design, fixtures, CoS drawings, and stage drawing creation
- Supplier management and supplier quality engineering
- CAPP (Computer Aided Process Planning)
- Good knowledge of GD&T, metrology, surface treatment processes, and safety standards
- Hands-on experience with 8D problem solving and Six Sigma tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in aerospace industry standards and compliance
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or above)
- Hands-on experience with NX and Teamcenter tools
- Exposure to global supplier ecosystems and manufacturing programs
