Job Title: Support Engineer - Manufacturing Applications

Location: Hyderabad, India

About the Role

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific's Center of Excellence in Hyderabad and be part of a global team advancing digital manufacturing. This role ensures the stability, compliance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing IT applications that power pharmaceutical production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for a diverse set of manufacturing IT applications to ensure reliable, compliant operations.
  • Lead root cause analysis, manage configuration changes, and drive application enhancements.
  • Collaborate with global IT, business, and vendor teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
  • Support upgrades, patching, and validation activities aligned with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and data-integrity principles.
  • Provide user training, onboarding, and detailed support documentation.
  • Maintain clear, compliant documentation for incidents, configuration changes, and validations.
  • Promote standard practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting manufacturing IT applications.
  • Knowledge of MES, SCADA, historian, or batch-management systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and GxP-validated environments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
