JD – Manual Testing - Payments
Experience: 2-5 Years (Preferred)
Location: Mumbai
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Domestic Banking Payment Systems and International Banking Practices.
- Hands-on experience with domestic payment channels including:
- NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer)
- RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement)
- IMPS (P2P, P2A, A2A)
- UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
- Payment Gateways
- BillDesk
- SFMS (Structured Financial Messaging System)
- Good knowledge of SWIFT Messaging Standards and International Payments.
- Experience working with SWIFT MT message formats including:
- MT103 – Customer Credit Transfer
- MT202 – Financial Institution Transfer
- MT940 – Customer Statement Message
- MT942 – Interim Transaction Report
- MT111 – Request for Stop Payment
- MT112 – Status of Request for Stop Payment
- Understanding of end-to-end payment processing lifecycle, reconciliation, settlements, and transaction monitoring.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Experience working with Banking/Payments applications and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to domestic and international payment systems.
- Support implementation and enhancement of payment processing solutions.
- Validate payment workflows, message formats, and transaction processing logic.
- Collaborate with business users, operations teams, and technology teams for requirement clarification and solution delivery.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, payment standards, and SWIFT messaging protocols.
- Participate in testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production support activities.
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and business requirement documents (BRDs).
